In
Development at CNAM
|
In March 2010 we received a major grant from the Corporation for
Public Broadcasting to develop and market a full-featured computer game for teaching
history and civics to American middle-schoolers. Past/Present will be an online educational
experience centering around a 3D virtual role-playing game that allows
students to put themselves in the place of Americans from past eras. Find out about our 1906-era prototype at
our work-in-progress
website. |

Getting Back to Abnormal |
|
Five years after the events surrounding Hurricane Katrina, how has
New Orleans changed from the place it was before the storm? Set against the
backdrop of the 2010 city elections, in which New Orleans chose the first
white mayor in 32 years,Getting Back to Abnormal is an insider's look at one of
America's most unusual cities as it grapples with recovery, racial divisions,
and a winning football team. A return to CNAM's Louisiana roots, in
collaboration with Paul Stekler. |
